Who we are

FixMyProd is run by Poliakov Maksim IE, a sole proprietor registered in Armenia (“we”). Contact: hello@fixmyprod.com. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.

The labs

A lab is a machine we break on purpose and lend to you to fix, from your own terminal. You get root on it. It is isolated: it has no route to the internet, to other people's labs or to our infrastructure. It is deleted when the session ends, with everything on it, so do not keep anything there.

The labs are free while we are getting started. To keep the labs free for everyone we limit how many of them one person, and one network, can start in a day. We may change them, pause them or stop offering them, and a lab may be unavailable or end early when something of ours breaks.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub or Google. An account is for one person, who is at least 16 years old. Keep your sign-in on machines you control: whoever holds it can start labs as you, and you are responsible for what happens in the sessions you start.

What a lab is not for

On your lab machine you are root, and how you fix it is up to you. You must not:

• try to get out of it: reach other people's labs, our gateway or any of our systems, including the cloud's metadata service;
• use it to attack, scan or send traffic to anyone else;
• mine cryptocurrency or run anything that has nothing to do with the lab;
• share your sessions or your sign-in, or start sessions by script;
• publish a lab's solution or writeup: a lab whose answer is a search away is worth nothing to the next person.

If you break these rules we block the account and end its sessions at once. If you think a block is a mistake, or want to report abuse, write to abuse@fixmyprod.com.

Recording

The gateway you connect through records everything you type in a lab session and everything your terminal shows. We use the recordings to review how a lab was solved, to spot abuse, to improve the labs, and to show you where your time went.

Recordings are kept for 30 days, and for up to 33 days in backups. A recording we mark for review is kept for up to 180 days. The time and the address of each connection are not part of the recording: they stay with your sessions until you delete your account, as the privacy policy says. Do not type or paste anything into a lab that you would not want recorded, such as your own passwords or keys.

Lab content

The labs, their checks and their writeups are ours. Write about the techniques you learn as much as you like; keep a lab's answer to yourself. When a lab's answer is published, that version may stop counting toward scores.

Ending

To delete your account, write to hello@fixmyprod.com from the address you signed in with. We delete the account, its sessions and its recordings by hand within 30 days. They leave our database backups within 14 days after that. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or close the service.

No warranty

The labs are provided as they are. They are disposable machines and may break, end or lose what you did on them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using them.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia. If you use the labs as a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply to you.

Changes

If these terms change, the version above changes too, and we keep every previous version: 2026-10-09. The fixmyprod command shows you the new version and asks you to accept it before your next lab.
